A few days ago Samsung released a bada 2.0 firmware (consumer version) for the Chinese version of the original Wave I. Its the S8500ZCLB4/S8500OZCLB4 firmware which has a few new features which haven’t seen before in other bada 2.0 firmwares (yet).
The new features are:
- IP Calling, which could be VOIP (Voice over iP).
- Data usage switch on or off in the tap-to-expand notification bar.
- Auto Silent mode, which is silent manager feature where you can control the silent mode from time to time.
Unfortunately we haven’t test the firmware by our self so can’t judge about the how these features are working, but we are pretty sure that these new features are welcome for many bada users, especially the IP calling feature. At the moment its unkown if and when these new features will come to European and other region firmwares, but we will keep an eye on that!
